Solar Ribbon Press

Solar Ribbon Press LLC is an independent publisher based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We make gift books that celebrate one day at a time.

Our series, What's So Great About [Month Day], is written under the pen name Daphne Larkson. There is one book for every date on the calendar — including February 29 — filled with trivia, history, famous birthdays and weddings, culture, science, and a few playful surprises.

These books are meant to be given: for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, “our day,” or anyone who loves knowing what happened on this day in history. Each volume includes a personalizable gift page, a kids' page, a trivia quiz, and a time-capsule page to fill in.

Formats are simple: ebook for $3.99, and a standard color 6×9 paperback for $9.99. We're rolling titles out across major ebook stores and print partners; if a store button still says “Coming soon,” that listing is on the way.
